I was born in Tanzania of parents of Indian descent, grew up in France and moved to Canada for university. I pursued higher education studies leading to a Masters in the field of Education, joined the not for profit sector for a few years, operated my own consulting company, and then joined the Federal Government.
Following a strong intuition from the healer in me, I left the conventional, socially acceptable ‘job’ I had with the Federal Government for 10 years. This decision was not without a period of battling my intuition and remaining stuck due to my own thoughts and beliefs around the need for security. The result was a manifestation on my physical health, which in turn strengthened the call of the healer in me. This has sparked my interest in healing traditions such as Shamanism, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, Homeopathy, to name a few, all of which are based on the understanding that our being is comprised of the physical, emotional, and spiritual.

From the experience of my own journey, I hold a strong belief that we have the ability to heal ourselves given a supportive belief system and the tools.
My healing practice aims to support people in their quest for balance and healing, whether it be at a physical, emotional or spiritual level. Physical ailments are often a manifestation of inner emotional, energetic or spiritual imbalances and unresolved issues. I use reflexology as one pathway to realigning the body while integrating energy healing. This, in turn, supports overall balance in one’s ‘self’.
As life is a journey, learning never ends and I will continue to learn new healing modalities in order to serve better.
